Anna Clisdell is the interior stylist behind Villa Anna Interiors. Her design ethos is embedded in creating warm and welcoming homes that have a classic timeless style and understated elegance.

Based in North West Sydney, her personable approach to her clients, and commitment to understanding people and how they live, their tastes and their homes, forms the foundations of her excellent client relationships and outcomes.

Liveable beauty

From an early age, Anna had an innate sense of style courtesy of her mother’s influence. Her childhood home was warm, welcoming and beautiful. Even as a child, she was in awe of how her mother created a home with a gorgeous aesthetic that was also comfortable to live in.

Anna styles homes with her client, and how they live, front of mind. Her designs are on the basis that they will be lived in, not that everything should be perfect with nothing out of place or able to be touched. She is guided by the belief that people need to be able to live in their beautiful spaces.

A mother to two (now grown up) children and a couple of fur babies, she understands the functionality of having a family and a life without compromising on aesthetics. She brought this to life in 2021 when she built and designed her and her partner’s dream home.

Anna’s innate sense of style is backed up by more than a decade working on iconic campaigns for David Jones as a visual merchandising specialist, for Kate Rose Designs and an interior stylist with Brentwood Interiors. This is reinforced by design credentials with Coco Republic Design School and TAFE NSW.  She draws inspiration from her studies, experience working with clients and her travels across Europe, USA and Asia.
